Taiwanese Makers to Roll Out Wireless Skype Devices

Compal Communications and Inventec Appliances will be rolling out Skype-enabled WiFi handsets in late 2005. Inventec will also release handsets supporting GSM and WLAN in the first half of 2006. Although HTC has not developed any handset for Skype, the company has put out the first PDA phone with Skype functionality.
